Jessica Simpson

There was much talk today about Jessica Simpson snubbing President Bush. Apparently she turned down an invitation to meet the President. Simpson's public explanation was that the invitation was to meet Bush at a Republican fundraiser, and her fundraising work was non-partisan. She didn't want to send the wrong message to her supporters. I think the real reason is that Simpson is uncomfortable in situations where she's the smartest person in the room.
